Amanda Gerace

Amanda is a mother, nature-lover, dreamer, death/grief doula, massage therapist and experienced psilocybin facilitator, drawing from over 21 years in the healing arts. Her work is rooted in somatic practices and introspective exploration, and it is with a grounded curiosity, compassion, and nurturing presence that Amanda supports clients on their unique path to finding a deeper connection to self.

Amanda began work as a massage therapist in 2003 after graduating from the Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College in Flagstaff, AZ.
In 2020, Amanda became a certified end of life doula, and she holds a deep reverence for the ways in which grief and death shape us, teach us, and connect us to the cycles of life.

Amanda’s personal experience with psilocybin has been life changing. It has helped her to process debilitating grief, trauma and depression from the loss of her daughter and a near death experience and eventually come back to herself with renewed vibrancy and extreme gratitude for the mystery and magic of the mushrooms. After experiencing the healing potential, Amanda was inspired to work more closely with psilocybin, and she graduated from InnerTrek with the inaugural cohort of the first legal psilocybin facilitators.

YOUR LUMINOUS JOURNEY STARTS HERE…

We have intentionally chosen Taos, NM, as our retreat location because of its sacred essence. Nestled in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, Taos is both historic and charming. It offers a profound spiritual connection to the land, along with an array of churches, museums, and a vibrant community that nurtures our hearts. Discover more about Taos here: www.taos.org.

We believe that healing happens in community. The Luminous Journey Retreat is designed to bring together a group of heart-centered women to cultivate healing, ally with ancient plant medicine, and practice sacred alignment. We will gather as a women’s council of light, seeking ceremony for discernment and clarity. Together, we will embark on a journey that includes breathwork and sound healing, intentional movement through yoga, nourishing meals, creative exploration, labyrinth walks, and deep immersion into self-love and tender care.

Flight are available into Albuquerque or Santa Fe, NM. Taos is then a 70 mile drive north of Santa Fe. As a group, we will have an afternoon to walk around old Taos and explore what the city has to offer. Bring a good pair of walking shoes and your open-hearted curiosity for this adventure (weather permitting).

Taos can be chilly in April. Sometimes it even snows! As we won’t know what the weather will be like until we get closer to our sojourn, plan to pack layers and be open to whatever mother nature has in store.
